* There will be an Intermission after the Part 1.
Bread Factory, the art space in Checkford founded by Dorothea and Greta forty years ago, comes under threat when a famous artist duo from China plans to replace it with a lavish new cultural space. Patrick Wang’s script is a masterful blend of arts, capital and political issues, offering insight into lost identities in the world of art through the clash between the art space and show business. This two-part, four-hour long film shows characters of different ethnicities and backgrounds engaged in diverse forms of artistic practice. [JANG Byungwon]
