In the bucolic countryside of Brazil, Marcelo, an easygoing cowboy lives for one passion: rodeos. One tragic incident affects him deeply. Little by little he overcomes the trauma and is ready to dream again.
Young Marcelo living in an idyllic rural town in Brazil is a man with a calm personality like the cows he takes care of. However, when the rodeo season starts, this frank, quiet, cowboy turns into an aggressive rodeo announcer. Marcelo, who brings more heat to the excited crowd, is in stark contrast from his image at the deserted farm. Recently, there was a cattle raid at the farm and this disturbs his peaceful life. He suffers trauma as he loses his cattle from the violence and theft of the armed robbers. Even though he is deeply depressed, he still tries to find his life among his friends who no longer enjoy the rural life. Homing is sometimes seen as a documentary but it is a semi-documentary where many of the scenes are fabricated. The film is uncomplicated as a gentle walk but silently stimulates one’s imagination.
